WHY:
Trash and recyclables are carried to our rivers and creeks by storm drainage, run-off, and careless human beings. Annually, the Basura Bash effort yields tons of trash and recyclables from the banks of the San Antonio River and its tributaries.

HOW:

When registering, volunteers may choose the river or creek they wish to clean. Long pants, gloves, and sleeves and closed shoes are recommended.  Trash bags are provided.
